The Embassy wishes to inform that the Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the commencement of issuing the Enhanced e-passport (B-series), the contactless passport processing system, and biometric visas at the Embassy of Nigeria in Kyiv, Ukraine, which is temporarily relocated to Vilnius, Lithuania.
2. In light of this development, Nigerians resident in Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia and Moldova will be able to process and receive the Enhanced e-passport (B-series), which comes in 34 and 66 pages for 5 – 10-year validity options, respectively.
3. Also, to be available is the contactless passport process system, which enables Nigerians to undertake the process of re-issuing
their expired passports remotely, without having to visit the Embassy.
4. Similarly, the biometric Nigerian visa system for foreign nationals and foreign residents of the aforementioned countries seeking to visit Nigeria for various purposes will also be available at the Embassy of Nigeria in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The Embassy wishes to inform all Nigerian residents in Ukraine that a passport intervention exercise will be carried out in Lviv, Ukraine, from Friday, 9th to Saturday, 10th May 2025. All Nigerians seeking passport services are kindly requested to submit their applications and plan accordingly.
Applicants are to visit: https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/ to access the online passport application form and make payment online.
Other documents required by applicants are:
1. Application addressed to the Embassy
2. Printed out online Application form and payment slip
3. Birth certificate issued by National Population for those after 1992 or Age declaration from high court for those born before 1992.
4. Certificate of identification/origin/Local government of origin
5. kindly note that 60 Dollars will be charged at the venue for administrative fee.
