The Embassy of
Nigeria wishes to inform that the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared
Monday, 31st March and Tuesday, 1st April, 2025 as a
public holiday in celebration of the Eid-el-Fitr. The Embassy will therefore be
closed on the above mentioned dates and will re-open on Wednesday, 2nd
April, 2025.

celebrations throughout the festive season.
This is to inform Nigerian citizens residing in Ukraine who wish to renew their passports, that the Embassy intends to conduct an intervention exercise shortly. Applicants are advised to commence the submission of their applications.
To guarantee the efficiency of the exercise, the Embassy requests applicants to forward the following documents as a single pdf file to the email address: info.kiv@foreignaffairs.gov.ng.
1. Online application forms and payment slip. (passport.immigration.gov.ng)
2. Passport data page
3. Birth certificate
4. Certificate of Local Government of origin in Nigeria.
This is to inform intending applicants that from 1st January 2025, the Embassy will commence a mandatory appointment service for applicants requiring for visa, passport and consular services.
Henceforth, applicants without a confirmed appointment will not be attended to. This has become necessary to improve the efficiency of services rendered to the public.
Consequently, applicants are required to book an appointment on the Embassy's platform, irrespective of the appointment date obtained from the Nigeria immigration Service (NIS) website.
