Deadline for linkaging of the National Identity Number (NIN) to Telephone lines


The Embassy wishes to inform the public that the Federal Government of Nigeria has reiterated the subsistence of 19th February, 2021, deadline for linkaging of the National Identity Number (NIN) to Telephone lines.

Consequently, the government has approved the opening of new enrollment centers in Canada, Spain and Switzerland whereas the Diaspora licensees have commenced the reopening of NIN enrollment centers in countries that are certified to do so.

The Public is hereby advised to seize the opportunity of the under-listed centers, to enroll for the mandatory NIN policy, which will form part of all future Citizens-Centric- Services in the Mission.
