REINSTATEMENT OF LOST PASSPORTS FEES

The Embassy has lately, been inundated with request for the replacement of lost passports. This phenomenon has exacerbated the already tenuous situation of shortage of passport booklets in the Mission. To this effect, applicants seeking to replace their lost passports will henceforth, be surcharged the sum of USD 100.00, in addition to the cost of replacing their passports.

2.       The reinstatement of the surcharge is intended to act as a deterrent and thus reduce the increasing spate of loss of passports. This measure will take effect on 3rd August, 2020.
